Icky Thump

The Legendary "Garage Rock / Blues Rock / Indie Rock !" band from Detroit, Michigan, The White Stripes finally released the first single from their upcoming album "Icky Thump". the self-titled single from the album "Icky Thump" released in April 26 2007 in US and finally released through iTunes in some days ago.

the first thing i said when i heard the song was "WoW !" or "What Da F**K ?" or something. hell yes, The White Stripes returns with a masterpiece / beautiful single. the sound is still in the vein of The White Stripes style and still shows their unique style of music. grungy, fuzzy guitar sounds with the screamy voice of Jack White. drums sound reminds you the drums parts of the song "Seven Army Nation". you can hear so many Organ solos through this 4':17'' song. the Organ solos that remind you the 60's 70's bands and it remind me some The Animals old stuffs. the lyrics of this song is available in their official homepage. Jack White produced this song. this single has three versions. White Vinyle 7", Standard 7" and CD single.

Tracklist:
White vinyl 7" 1. "Icky Thump" 2. "Etching" (no audio)
Standard 7" 1. "Icky Thump" 2. "Baby Brother"
CD single 1. "Icky Thump" 2. "Catch Hell Blues"
some versions of this single has two tracks and both tracks are the same song. the 1st song is Icky Thump radio edited version and the 2nd song is the original version.

The White Stripes will release their sixth studio album with the same name "Icky Thump" on 18 June 2007. Warner Bros. Records will release this album in US and XL Recordings will release it in EU. don't miss this beautiful song. this is very recommended to all TWS fans and of course all rockers around.
